This American Red Cross class is designed to help children become comfortable in the aquatic environment. Parents and children will be introduced to basic skills such as entering/exiting pool safely, kicking and blowing bubbles. Skills will be taught to the parent who will work with the child at their own pace. Toys and songs will be incorporated into the learning process. Adult must participate in the water with child. Class will be capped at 10 pairs.NOTE: the class participant (child) must be a member in good standing to register early and receive any discounts.

Ai ChiThis class is a program designed to increase range of motion, mobility, and balance, as well as to reduce stress. It includes fluid movements paired with breathing techniques to lengthen, strengthen and relax the body to prepare for the day.PiYoChiThis class is a combination of slow movements from Ai Chi, Pilates, and Yoga with concentration on breathing which is calming and helps to reduce stress. This class, set to music, is high energy and guaranteed to strengthen and tone your body. This American Red Cross class is designed to help children become comfortable in the aquatic environment. Parents and children will be introduced to basic skills such as entering/exiting pool safely, kicking and blowing bubbles. Skills will be taught to the parent who will work with the child at their own pace. Toys and songs will be incorporated into the learning process. Adult must participate in the water with child. Class will be capped at 10 pairs.NOTE: the class participant (child) must be a member in good standing to register early and receive any discounts.

These preschool classes are offered to kids 3-5 years old without a parent in the water.NOTE: the class participant must be a member in good standing to register early and receive any discounts. Preschool 1Participants work towards basic skills including body positions, blowing bubbles, submerging, floating, kicking and arm action, and jumping all done with support.Preschool 2Prerequisite: Child must be able to perform 5 rhythmic bobs and be comfortable with submerging. Continues to reinforce basic skills but with little or no assistance. Emphasis is placed on floating, arm and leg action, and an introduction to rhythmic breathing.Preschool 3Prerequisite: Must have successfully completed Preschool 1 and 2. Must be able to swim one length of the Warm Water Pool unassisted. Class will work on the skills necessary to enter into the American Red Cross level classes. Skills include independent floating, and front and back crawl strokes.
