In our inclusion program we strive to provide participants of all abilities with behavior support, activity adaptations, and friendship facilitation. Our goals is to provide an integrated experience for your camper - with 50% of their time "independent" or without an inclusion aide. We facilitate an "aide and fade" program, this means we can provide more support at the start and then fade away eventually for 50% of the day. In the summer we have a full-time Inclusion Program Director and 2 full-time Inclusion Aides, this is the team that provide the behavior support, activity adaptations, and friendship facilitation to our campers. Participants must have an IEP or 504 Plan to qualify for the inclusion program.
The First Step in the process is to register for the In-take Assessment. We will be reaching out based on your spot on the wait list for your assessment before any acceptances are made.
Second, an initial email will go out in March about the intake assessment process which includes an assessment form and scheduling a meeting with the inclusion director.
Third, the inclusion director will review your information and meet with you and your child. At this meeting, the Inclusion director will go over what services we provide, and the various inclusive techniques and materials we use - ex. daily journal and visual schedules.
Fourth, once it has been confirmed that our inclusion program is a good fit, we will complete the registration for the weeks you registered for. The deposit or full payment will be due at this time.
