Welcome to the Otters Swim Team! Our recreational swim team is designed to provide a positive team environment for learning good sportsmanship through competitive swimming. Otters begin with the fundamental skills and we build from there to allow each swimmer to achieve their individual goals. Our Otters team is an inclusive community and we provide a safe and healthy environment for all of our swimmers to begin a lifelong love of swimming.

Families select their practice days from the options below (per age group), but must keep them set throughout the Fall season. Winter season will allow for a re-selection of practice dates if needed.

Practice Times for Spring and Summer 2024

8yr & Under Swimmers
Two practices per week
Days to select from include: M/T/W/TH/F 4:30pm-5:30pm.

9yr & 10yr Swimmers
Two practices per week
Days to select from include: M/T/W/TH/F 4:30pm-5:30pm

11yr & Over Swimmers
Three practices per week
Days to select from include: M/T/W/TH/F 5:30pm-7:00pm

Our head coach Maureen Cownie has been at the Beede Center for 16 years as both a swim coach and swim instructor. She enjoys coaching all age groups from young swimmers just beginning their swim career to high school students looking to make sectional and state cuts for their high school swim team. Maureen has a Level 1 and 2 American Swim Coaches Association certification and Red Cross Water Safety Instructor certification.For any questions email concordotters@concordma.gov.
