Carousel Preschool Stay and Swim Program

This program is currently unavailable. Click here to view all of our current programs.

Concord Carousel will be offering a Spring Session of Stay and Swim beginning on Monday April 10 and ending on Monday June 5 (7 weeks). There is no lesson during April vacation week or on Memorial Day. Stay and Swim provides an opportunity for children enrolled in Carousel to stay at school for lunch and social time then to travel by school bus to the Beede Swim and Fitness Center for a swim lesson and playtime in the spray pool.  While at Beede, the children will be divided into groups by age/ability. While one group has a ½ hour lesson, the other has supervised play in the children’s pool.  Children participating in Stay and Swim bring a lunch to eat before leaving Carousel.  We ask that the lunch be disposable, to reduce the amount of “stuff” the children have to carry to the pool. Please do not send lunch boxes or water bottles. We can provide water for the children and a paper bag does not have to come to the Beede Center.

Children finish swimming at 2:15 PM and pick up is at Beede.

Stay and Swim requires a commitment for the full session and refunds will not be given for missed classes. There is no sibling discount. Children must be toilet trained or wear a swim diaper for Stay and Swim. Children take a school bus from Harvey Wheeler and pick-up is at the Beede Center at 2:15.

Please read the Stay and Swim Guidelines included with your reciept carefully as they explain our policies and procedures.

Children staying for Stay and Swim should bring a nutritious lunch from home. Please note the following:

  1. We ask that the lunch be disposable, to reduce the amount of “stuff” the children have to carry to the pool. Please do not send lunch boxes or water bottles. We can provide water for the children and a paper bag does not have to come to the Beede Center.
