Concord Recreation is excited work with the Alcott Elementary School PTG and Administration to oversee the before and after class recreation programs!  These enrichment classes are available to Alcott students, only.

Enrichment programs typically run on a 6 week schedule and offer a range of opportunities for participants to connect, play, and learn. Participants in afterschool enrichment programs will be brought to their program classroom and check in with their instructor. At the end of the class, participants will be brought to the designated pick up location (often the school front entrance). Participants registered in the concord recreation afterschool program will be brought to their afterschool site.

Pick-Up Protocol
  • Please make sure you sign-out your student for pick-up at the designated time and location.
  • Report all absences or new pick-up authorizations to the instructor by 12pm on the day of class (by email or text). In respect to the structure and flow of our vendor programs, please pick-up at the scheduled dismissal time. For extenuating circumstances, please contact the instructor and recreation supervisor (contact info below).
  • If the instructor is not contacted, the parent/guardian or emergency contact will be contacted by the instructor to get authorization for the pick-up.
  • Participants picked up later than 15 minutes after the end of the program will be charged an additional $25.00 fee. Vendors unable to reach the parent/guardian or emergency contact of a participant later than 15 minutes after the end of the program will call concord police.

For Students Registered in Afterschool – on the same day of the enrichment program they are registered for must notify the absentee email of their absence from afterschool and their attendance in this program. All registered afterschool students will be checked in to the afterschool program after their program, unless specified in the absentee email.

Please make sure that your students myrec profile is up to date – age, grade, specific accommodations, allergies ect. This is important information that helps us provide safe and enriching programming. Please reach out if you have any questions or would like to provide additional information.

Kids Test Kitchen Form:  please complete the orientation link before the first class (even if you have taken the class before) https://kidstestkitchen.com/safetysuccess/ This link is used to gather clear details about allergies and to prepare for the various needs of the group in general.
