Concord Recreation is excited to be working with the Alcott Elementary School PTG and Administration to now oversee the before and after class recreation programs! These classes are available to Alcott students, only.
Enrichment programs typically run on a 6 week schedule and offer a range of opportunities for participants to connect, play, and learn. Participants in afterschool enrichment programs will be brought to their program classroom and check in with their instructor. At the end of the class, participants will be brought to the designated pick up location (often the school front entrance). Participants registered in the concord recreation afterschool program will be brought to their afterschool site.
Pick Up Protocol: We request that you contact the instructor via email or text all permissions for participants being picked up by someone other their than parent/guardian or emergency contact. If a participants pick up is late, instructors will first contact the participants emergency contact. Participants picked up later than 15 minutes after the end of the program will be charged an additional $25.00 fee. Instructors unable to reach the parent/guardian or emergency contact of a participant later than 15 minutes after the end of the program will call concord police.
* Please note that early dismissals are not always possible due to the location of the program and staffing protocols. If you expect to regularly pickup your student early we encourage you to register for a program that does not require a regular early dismissal.
Please make sure that your students myrec profile is up to date – age, grade, specific accommodations, allergies ect. This is important information that helps us provide safe and enriching programming. Please reach out if you have any questions or would like to provide additional information.
Kids Test Kitchen Form: please complete the orientation link before the first class (even if you have taken the class before) https://kidstestkitchen.com/prep. This link is used to gather clear details about allergies and to prepare for the various needs of the group in general.
