Chess Wizards: July 8 - July 12 & July 29 - August 2
Join us this summer for tons of challenging chess lessons, exciting games, and cool prizes. You'll improve your chess skills, meet new friends, and work out your most powerful muscle - your brain! Our camps include fun team chess games, recess time, snacks, tournaments, and puzzles. Each camper receives a T-shirt, trophy, and puzzle folder. We include all the materials. Unleash your brain power and spend part of your vacation with Chess Wizards!
Lego Civics Project: July 15 - July 19
A Lego City Comes to Life!
Join our community as we build and govern a world-class Lego city, complete with everything needed for incoming residents! Build, budget and furnish your own house. Plan a marketing campaign as you build your own business. Serve on the city council and vote to shape the city’s future as you help create a constitution of laws for your citizens. Our Right Brain Curriculum teachers will guide you through – demonstrating how math, economics and community-building are key to a successful, working urban environment. Social studies have never been so much fun!
Expert Architects: July 22 - July 26
Calling all architects! The next great skyscraper is waiting to be built!
Form your architectural firm and start imagining the building of your dreams. Our Right Brain Curriculum instructors will guide you along the way – from the mathematical calculations every good architect must make to the history of how the elevator revolutionized Manhattan. Then you’ll be ready to build! You will consider the environment, transportation, parking, and green space as you create a working blueprint for your creation. Then you’ll bring it to life as a Lego model! You will present your work to your peers and demonstrate how your tower will be the next great building of the 21st Century. The sky’s the limit!
Buildwave Hands on Building Game: August 12 to August 16
Want to spark your child's interest in STEM? Buildwave is an innovative building program that feels like a video game! During the camp, your child will create with over 50 different building materials, including Lego, Plusplus and much more!
Introduction to 3D Printing Design: August 19 to August 23
Design intricate 3D-printable objects using BlocksCAD, a free online program developed at Einstein's Workshop! Our easy-to-learn software makes coding and 3D design as simple as dragging and dropping blocks of editable code. Each block modifies 3D shapes to create models unique to your style. Develop an intuitive understanding of coordinate geometry while turning your imagination into reality. At the end of the course, you can pick one of your creations to be printed on Einstein’s Workshop’s 3D printers and taken home!
