These preschool classes are offered to kids 3-5 years old without a parent in the water.NOTE: the class participant must be a member in good standing to register early and receive any discounts. Beede Member Registration for Winter Lessons Begin Wednesday, November 26th! Non-Member Registration for Winter Lessons Begin Wednesday, December 3!Preschool 1Participants work towards basic skills including body positions, blowing bubbles, submerging, floating, kicking and arm action, and jumping all done with support.Preschool 2Prerequisite: Child must be able to perform 5 rhythmic bobs and be comfortable with submerging. Continues to reinforce basic skills but with little or no assistance. Emphasis is placed on floating, arm and leg action, and an introduction to rhythmic breathing.Preschool 3Prerequisite: Must have successfully completed Preschool 1 and 2. Must be able to swim one length of the Warm Water Pool unassisted. Class will work on the skills necessary to enter into the American Red Cross level classes. Skills include independent floating, and front and back crawl strokes.

Private lessons are one instructor per one participant and are perfect for helping stay focused, conquering tough skills, and getting over fears.Semi Private lessons are intended for two to three individuals to share a teaching session.Dates and times listed for lessons online are placeholders; actual lesson times can be arranged between instructors and patrons. Lessons are available at instructor's discretion; if you would like to join the private lesson program please fill out the intake form through the following link to be added to our wait list: https://forms.gle/FtXPaXEoUhsLXsGs7The wait list will be capped at 50 people until we hire are able to hire more instructors. Current waitlist: 36/50As instructors have openings they will reach out to you to schedule lessons and then registration is done through Alyx Zavetnya (azavetnya@concordma.gov) once lessons are scheduled. Please note that if you have not registered and paid for the lesson you will not be able to have the lesson. We are experiencing a shortage of instructors at the moment so it may be some time before an instructor reaches out to you; if you would like updates please don't hesitate to reach out to our Aquatics Supervisor, Alyx, at azavetnya@concordma.gov.
