Learn how exercise can combat the physical and psychological challenges facing patients with Parkinson’s Disease. This hour-long class focuses on stretching, flexibility, strength, and balance and will help keep muscles strong and flexible, including those that control swallowing and speaking.

The class will accommodate patients at all stages of the disease. Participants should get medical clearance beforehand.

Stage One: Symptoms on one side of the body only
Stage Two: Symptoms on both sides of the body, but no
impairment of balance.
Stage Three: Balance Impairment with mild to moderate disease,
yet physically independent
Stage Four: Severe disability, but still able to walk or stand
unassisted.
Stage Five: Wheelchair-bound or bedridden unless assisted.

Stages One-Three: Tuesdays & Thursdays
Stages Four-Five: Wednesdays
